New products from Cougar
Cougar is not well known here in Denmark, but they certainly are abroad. They are also entering the Danish market. I've heard from them that they are preparing the first steps. We are going to look at a few exciting products they have unleashed the recently. We start with their mouse REVENGER which is their newest mouse product.
Revenger has the best features a FPS mouse can have. It has a good surface, rubber grips on the sides and 3 different DPI settings you can change while fighting on the battlefield.
Besides that, the mouse has an impressive 12,000 DPI, so there should be the sensitivity for any gamer. The mouse tracks, according to Cougar perfectly on any surface, but they do however recommend their own mouse pads for best results.
Last but not least, the mouse has 2 light zones with RGB light. So you can customize your mouse to your color theme of your setup.

Next we have a quick look at the new keyboard from Cougar. It's called ULTIMUS and is a mechanical RGB keyboard. Which mechanical switches are used, is unmentioned at the homepage.
The keyboard has N-Key rollover technology. This means that no matter how many keys you press at the same time, the keyboard is not confused. Besides that, the keyboard is driver free, so you do not need to install any drivers to use the keyboard. It obviously has a fabric cable like most gamer products now a days.
The keyboard also has multimedia keys. However, they are stored under a fn key, but they are there. Gaming's what this keyboard is built for, and you can also lock the Windows keys, so you do not accidentally press the wrong keys in the heat of battle. And the polling rate is as high as 1000Hz, so the update is quick.
Here at last. Cougar has made a little video of the light effects. You change the effect directly on the keyboard, therefore again no drivers installation needed.
